Gas Prices - $1.79?????!!!!!

So, I'm driving to work this morning and there it is $1.79 a gallon. WOW!!!! and to think just about a month or so ago we were all paying $3 and $4 and in some places $5 a gallon. I'm pretty happy to see gas prices back to reasonable, especially with the holiday season.

It's good to see that we are looking into alternatives especially concrete states like NYC. The smog chokes our environment and causes illnesses not to mention Global Warming. Thankfully, Global Warming is now out in the open and we know something has to be done.

Let's make energy friendly cars, use solar energy, wind power, water, etc. I know, I know there are downfalls also but something needs to be done or our children will have no Earth to continue living in.

Our President-Elect Barack Obama's Thanksgiving Message

You know.... I can't help but continue to be impressed with our President-Elect. Do you know that we are about to experience the most informational four years of presidency EVER. I just visited http://my.barackobama.com/ and viewed President-Elect Barack Obama's speech to the U.S. on Thanksgiving. What's nice about it is that not only are we able to keep up with him every step of the way but so is the entire world!

What I can confidentally say that I like about the new era of the Internet is information. Had this message to the US been on television it would have been televised at a certain time and if you missed it - you missed it. In today's world we are able to listen or view when we are ready to do so and our President-Elect is in full swing with this medium.

I'll continue to stay close and listen and view everything this President-Elect has to offer because it seems to me that he is not going to hide in the White House or feed us only what he feels we need to know - we will be informed every step of the way and my friends this is exactly what the U.S. has lacked in my lifetime.

I see the U.S. coming back into the black and coming together as one. Knowledge and knowing is half and battle and our President-Elect Barack Obama is half way there.
